What Is Google Pigeon update?

Google’s Pigeon was commenced on July 24, 2014 for U.S. English results and it is the code name given to one of its local search algorithm updates. Focusing to scale up the ranking of local listing in a search that are connected to traditional web search ranking signals, this update also had an impact in the search results shown in Google Maps down with the regular Google search results.
